Keith Murphy dies at age 56, final arrangements

Keith Murphy’s Funeral will be held this Sat., Nov. 20, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. for viewing and 10:30 a.m. for service

Murphy died on Sunday, November 14 in Maryland where he had recently moved back to after living in Milwaukee for many years. Many best knew him as the host for many years of the Milwaukee Public TV show, ‘Black Nouveau’ . He also worked for 1290 AM WMCS and 860 AM WNOV. At the time of his death Murphy hosted a satellite radio program, ‘Urban Journal’. He had recently celebrated a birthday on Oct. 31. He was 56 years old.

A memorial in Milwaukee is being discussed, yet details are not yet available.
