(MADISON) – Eric Von Boardley, noted Milwaukee journalist and broadcaster for WNOV (AM 860) passed away Thursday evening. Von’s show was a facet of the Milwaukee black talk radio scene, and was a popular voice in the African-American community. Senator Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) offered the following words on his passing:
“Eric’s mic is silent but the legacy of his commitment to this community and his family and friends is not gone. Our community has suffered a tremendous loss.
May God bless his soul!”
