The H. Matthew Beecham Scholarship, Inc. presents “I Don’t Know What You Come to Do, I Come to Praise Him” a musical on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at Canaan Baptist Church. Special guests are the New Glory Bound Singers and The Inner Circle Gospel Singers. The cost of the musical is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 17 and under.
The H. Matthew Beecham Scholarship was started many years ago and is named after the late Rev. H. Matthew Beecham. The scholarship fund supports qualifying students from Canaan with a $1,000 scholarship on a yearly basis. The purpose of the musical is to raise funds for the scholarship.
The community is invited to come out and worship God as we raise funds for the scholarship.
