Milwaukee County Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goals for United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Assisted Projects Federal Fiscal Years 2014-2016.
PUBLIC NOTICE
In accordance with USDOT Regulations, Milwaukee County has established goals for participation by certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms on the County’s federally assisted aviation projects anticipated for Federal Fiscal Years 2014-2016.
The County anticipates receiving $130,419,000 in federal financial assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) over this three (3) year period. Of this amount, $115,180,800 is slated for expenditures related to construction activities and $15,238,200 is expected to be spent on professional services.
The County recommends an overall DBE goal of 20.40% for all construction and construction related FAA assisted contracts. The methodology used for this recommendation is provided by the FAA, reviewed by our legal counsel and will be shared during these meetings.
Additionally, it is federally mandated that Milwaukee County collects, documents and considers stakeholders input during this process. Input may be provided in person during public meetings or via email to CBDPcompliance@milwcnty.com. Public comments will be accepted until August 8, 2013.
