Head Start Operations Manager
Within the Department of Program Design and Management, the Operations Manager is responsible for the overall fiscal management, Data Base Coordination, Transportation Coordination and ERSA Coordination for the SDC Head Start Program in the County of Milwaukee.
Head Start Quality Implementation and Evaluation Manager
Position is responsible for management of training, technical assistance and monitoring to the all children in SDC Head Start Program. Ensures quality services to all Head Start Children in Milwaukee County. Responsible for the supervision of six Head Start Subject Matter Experts. Also responsible for the development of SD Head Start Training academy
Head Start Health/Nutrition Subject Matter Expert
Provide training, monitoring and technical assistance in the area of health services to all head start programs throughout Milwaukee County. The applicant will follow all Federal Head Start performance standards and State and Local Child Care Regulations.
Head Start Disabilities/Mental Health Subject Matter Expert
The Disabilities/Mental Health Subject Matter Expert will provide the over site and coordination of services mandated by the SDC Head Start Program. The position will include training and monitoring all SDC sites records to Disabilities/Mental Health staff to ensure quality programming. Consult with Mental Health Consultants on schedule of frequency, receive and discuss intervention strategies with parent and staff.
Head Start Parental Family Community Engagement Subject Matter Expert
Provide coordination and training of Parental Family Community Engagement (PFCE) Services to all Head Start programs in Milwaukee County. This position will provide training and technical assistance to the SDC Head Start Program and develop and implement systems, policies, plans and procedures for the PFCE service area. Assist in the development and implementation of countywide systems, plans, policies and procedures.
Head Start Transitions Subject Matter Expert
Provide overall coordination of Transition Services, including the transition of children with disabilities, to all SDC Head Start sites in Milwaukee County. The position will provide training and technical assistance to each site as well as develop and implement systems, policies, plans and procedures for the area of transition services. Assist in the development and implementation of countywide systems, plans, policies, and procedures.
Manager, Accounting
Direct the workflow of the Finance Department, which includes eight direct reports. Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations at SDC. The functions include Account Payable, Payroll, and Accounting. Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and funding source regulations and rules. Manage cash flow, banking, fixed assets, and the accounting software. Review work including periodic reports to funding sources, journal entries, AR/AP, and financial activity. Also responsible for directing annual audit & funding source audits. Reviewing, preparing and advising on program & administration budgets. Assist Director of Finance with financial statement preparation.
Accounting Specialist
Perform various support duties in the Accounting Department. Make bank deposits using internet banking web portal and enter/process all bank activity into Financial Edge daily. Prepare accounts receivable invoices that are sent to clients for services, prepare various journal entries, allocate internal service activity to programs, and complete various reconciliations for travel, credit cards, gift cards, and Foundation revenues. Act as Audit support for management for the external audit and funding source audits. Perform research, schedules, reconciliations, and other projects at the request of management.
