Notice of Document Availability
The Milwaukee County Housing Division/CDBG Program invites residents of the Milwaukee County CDBG jurisdiction to provide input on the 2012 Annual Action Plan. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and are administered for the Milwaukee County jurisdiction by Milwaukee County. The 2012 Annual Action Plan presents a detailed strategy for the use of CDBG and HOME grant funds expected to be received by the County during Local Fiscal Year 2012 to implement eligible activities in achieving third year objectives of the County’s Consolidated Plan: FY 2010 – FY 2014.
A 30 calendar day comment period on the Annual Action Plan will commence on June 4, 2012 and conclude on July 6, 2012. Copies of the Draft 2012 Annual Action Plan for FY 2012 will be available on June 4th, 2012.
Oral and written comments received by or before 5:00 p.m. on July 6, 2012 will be considered and changes will be made to the Annual Action Plan, if such changes are deemed appropriate prior to submitting the final plan to HUD on or about July 9, 2012. During the comment period, a copy of the Annual Action Plan will be available for review Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee County Housing Division, Milwaukee County Library System and on the Milwaukee County Housing Division http://county.milwaukee.gov/HealthampHumanServic7753/ HousingDivision.htm. A summary of all comments, with reasons provided for any comments not incorporated, will be included in the 2012 Annual Action Plan submitted to HUD.
The final Annual Action Plan will be submitted to HUD once the 30 day comment period has expired.
