For over forty-five years, the Social Development Commission (SDC) has served as a planner, coordinator, and implementer of human service programs for low-income individuals and families in Milwaukee County. We currently have the following job openings:
DIRECTOR , W-2 ELIGIBILITY & ASSESSMENT
Directs the operations to ensure adherence to the requirements and the achievement of objectives. Implements operational objectives and work plans, as well as quality control procedures; provide on-going monitoring to ensure success. Requirements include Bachelor’s degree in related area plus five years related experience, background in developing relationships with community-based organizations and state and county agencies, familiarity with W-2 program as well as previous management experience.
DIRECTOR, HEAD START
Directs all functions of the Head Start Program including designing, implementing and evaluating of program systems. Manages and develops SDC and delegate Head Start Pograms. Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education, social services or related degree. Master’s Degree preferred. 8-10 years work experience in early childhood education, social services or school administration as well as previous management experience.
