Loan Program Assistant
The Social Development Commission (SDC) plans, develops and operates programs to improve the lives of low-income people in Milwaukee. The Loan Program Assistant will provide administrative support to the Ways to Work Program. The program provides loans to low-income families who cannot qualify for traditional loans. This position requires excellent written communication skills to produce a variety of reports and business correspondence; verbal communication skills to effectively present information and respond tactfully to questions from clients and the general public and basic math skills. Excellent computer skills as well as knowledge and experience of software application i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, database. Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. High school diploma and 2 years of administrative experience or equivalent education and experience.
