Annual All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast benefits Milwaukee families in need

May 7, 2011

From 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday May 7, La Causa’s Early Education and Care Center will host its All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast, a fun event thatyearly brings together community members to celebrate the work that La Causa does over all-youcan- eat pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and juice.

The Pancake Breakfast is a fundraiser for the La Causa Early Education and Care Center, which each year cares for about 900 children between the ages of 4 weeks and 12 years.

Located on the corner of 8th and Greenfield in a historic building, the Early Education and Care Center offers before, after school and evening child care, summer programs, a K4 and K5 program for early learners, and an Enhanced Childcare Head Start Option. La Causa Early Education and Care Center has been recognized as one of only 17 Governor’s Early Childhood Centers of Excellence in Wisconsin.

Admission is $5 per person at the door. The event will be held at 1643 S. 2nd Street.
