Working families are visiting area food shelves in record numbers. In fact, last year visits to emergency food shelves jumped 14 percent. That’s why Veta Robinson of Cross Lutheran Church helps organize canned peaches from the pallet of food donated to the church by Pick ’n Save and the Roundy’s Foundation. The donation took place during the foundation’s Focused on Feeding Families Tour, which donated $225,000 in food and money to 50 food pantries in five days
