Workshop Facilitator
The Social Development Commission (SDC) plans, develops and operates programs to improve the lives of low-income people in Milwaukee County. This position is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of workshops focusing on motivation, life skills, job search strategies and career planning. Duties involve assisting in the development of training materials, resources and learning activities for program workshops; developing an Initial Action Plan with participants and finalizing the Employment Action Plan with the clients. Job requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in related field and three years related experience. Able to demonstrate through education and professional experience the ability to work with adults in a learning environment, social services or a related field. Previous experience facilitating training for a variety of audiences. Strong oral and written communication skills. The ability to develop and maintain relationships in a multicultural environment.
