For over forty-five years, the Social Development Commission (SDC) has served as a planner, coordinator, and implementer of human service programs for low-income individuals and families in Milwaukee County. We currently have the following job openings:
DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES
The HR Director leads the Human Resources team in coordinating employment, employee relations, comp and benefit administration, legal compliance issues, policy, staff development, wellness and administration of the department. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and at least ten years related experience; ability to develop and maintain relationships in a multi cultural environment; good analytical, time management and both verbal and written communication skills.
MANGER, ENERGY/ASSET DEVELOPMENT
This position will assess and strategically plan the annual and seasonal needs and oversee the day to day operations of the Energy Assistance and free tax preparation programs. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in a social service related area and five years experience/training; prior management experience, including skills in strategic planning and data analysis.
***Both Positions include a Benefit package that includes a health plan, 4 weeks vacation, flexible spending account, sick & personal days, pension plan, and tuition reimbursement.
