EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Historic King Drive Business Improvement District #8 (“BID”) is an organization responsible for the improvement, economic development and promotion of the 2-mile stretch named after the famed civil rights leader. The mission of the BID is to attract and retain successful businesses. If you possess experience working in some combination of the following areas: economic development and/or revitalization, constituent services, nonprofit management, government/public policy, small-business assistance, or urban planning, have at least a Bachelor’s degree, appropriate computer skills and have the ability to engender trust and respect with people of diverse social, economic, racial, and educational backgrounds, we want to talk to you. This position reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the marketing and communications, administrative, financial and operational aspects of the BID.
