Research Specialist (Milwaukee)
The UW Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention seeks a Research Specialist to assist in research studies designed to evaluate stop smoking medications and to understand smoking cessation and relapse. Position is based in CTRI’s Milwaukee research office. Some local travel required. Duties include screening patients, collecting vital signs, conducting assessments, counseling, retention and tracking, and maintaining accurate data. Clinical trial, tobacco research and experience working with diverse populations preferred. Requires bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health or related field and 6 mos. experience in health-related research & data collection.
