For over forty-five years, the Social Development Commission (SDC) has served as a planner, coordinator, and implementer of human service programs for low-income individuals and families in Milwaukee County. We currently have the following job openings:
W-2 EAA Customer Service Representative
Within the W-2 EAA Department, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering a multi-line switchboard, and with assisting SDC Career Development Center and Welcome Center visitors and Public Consulting Group (PCG) clients.
W-2 EAA Emergency Assistance Specialist
Responsible for assisting customers with addressing immediate housing needs and connecting customers to internal/external resources. Input data in EATS, CARES, and other tracking systems . Review, verify, and calculate financial status to determine eligibility for emergency assistance. Identify individual barriers including cases of domestic violence, mental health, AODA, loss of employment, or other barriers
W-2 EAA Resource Center Coordinator
Coordinate the activities of the Welcome Center and Career Development Center. Assist customers with career inquiries by providing information and assessment resources which may include: published and online materials, vocational goals, labor market trends, and employment- related workshops. Assist with job search information and tools. Train staff and volunteers that work within the centers on assisting customers. As a member of the Integrated Services team assist with referral training, monitoring referral entries for W2 Eligibility & Assessment Agencies. Coordinate with SDC staff on integrated service activities, such as assisting clients with information and referrals to SDC and community programs.
W-2 EAA Resource & Support Services Coordinator-Bilingual Spanish
Within the Program Services Department, the Resources and Support Coordinator is responsible for Integrated Services case mangement and resources assistance. Immediately assist SDC program clients with linkages to appropriate SDC programs and community resources. Resolve social service issues and needs of walk-in client, and assist client with telephone information and referral service. Assist clients with crisis intervention and on-going Case Management. Coordinate integrated service delivery for clients through SDC program and community social service staff. Maintain updated resource database, provide updated resources to SDC staff upon request, and assist with implementation of partnership activities. Maintain data and supervise FIRST Unit interns.
W-2 EAA FIRST Case Manager
Within the W-2 EAA Department, the FIRST Case Manager is responsible for integrating SDC services by providing Case Management support and follow up to participants of SDC programs and to community clients.
