Badgers beat Michigan 38 to 0

October 17, 2019

On Saturday, October 13th, 2019 at Camp Randall the University of Wisconsin Badgers football team remain undefeated by beating Michigan 38 to 0. It was homecoming weekend and students and Alumni traveled from all over the country to take part in the festivities. The Delta Sigma Theta chapter celebrated 50 years on campus. Two players that stood out were Jonathan Taylor #23 and Quintez Cephus #87; they both had outstanding games.

• For the sixth time in the modern era (since 1946), the Badgers have begun the season 6-0. UW also began 6-0 in 1993, 1998, 2004, 2011 and 2017.

• Taylor has tied for eighth place in the program’s single-season touchdowns with John Clay (2009) and Montee Ball (2010) with 18. Ball also tops the list with 39 touchdowns in 2011.

• Taylor is now fifth in Wisconsin history with 47 career touchdowns scored. If he scores three more touchdowns, he will surpass James White (48) and Melvin Gordon (49) for third place.
