LeRoy Butler to host Packer party with a cause

October 18, 2013

Former Green Bay Packer Hall of Famer, LeRoy Butler is passionate about addressing the issue of bullying, launching his ‘Be A Buddy, Not A Bully campaign this past summer.

Leaping into yet another spectacular event, Butler will host a Packer Party with A Cause, “Wine Maniac’s on the River on Sunday, October 27.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the “Be A Buddy, Not A Bully campaign.

The “Be A Buddy, Not A Bully” campaign is well on its way to reaching more than 20 schools yet this year.

Butler is striving to bring together professionals, educators, parents, families and community leaders to discuss in an open mic forum the social ills that result in bullying.

“I remember what it was like growing up being bullied about my club feet and wearing leg braces.

I want kids to know they don’t have to be bullied,” said Butler.

The Packer Part with A Cause event will be held at 106 Seeboth St., in Milwaukee at 5:30 p.m.; VIP tickets are $150 and include a meet & greet with LeRoy Butler, dinner & wine, and a LeRoy Butler personalized photograph. Additional tickets are available for $100 and include dinner & wine and a LeRoy Butler autograph.

To purchase tickets, visit www.leroybutlerinc.com and click on “Wine Maniac’s with a Cause”.
