The Social Development Commission (SDC) is offering a program for young adults that helps them with both their education and job prospects.
The SDC Youth Employment Program (YEP) will serve youth between the ages of 18 and 21 who need to earn a GED, are income eligible, live in Milwaukee County, have a current driver’s license or valid ID, and a Social Security card. The program will enroll participating youth in a GED program as well as assign them to a worksite where they will receive on the job training while earning $7.25 per hour. There are a limited number of spaces in the YEP program.
