Milwaukee to host National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS) Conference

Milwaukee will host the National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS) Conference and Career Fair, Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 27 – 30, 2011, at the InterContinental Milwaukee Hotel. About 300 communications professional will be in town. We need you there too!

  • Registrations are starting to come in, but we need for you each to register also. Special for Milwaukee, we receive a $99 rate! See below how to get it.
  • Thursday, Oct. 27 – You are invited to attend the free opening reception, 6 – 8 pm sponsored by and at Harley- Davidson Museum, including food and beverages. We also need you to promote it because we want a full room of ‘who’s who’ — political, business, civic, religious and not-for-profit leaders — in attendance. The Mayor is tentatively scheduled to attend. Entertainment to follow.
  • Friday, Oct. 28 – The conference is in full force. Alfred Edmonds senior vice president/ multimedia editor-at-large of BLACK ENTERPRISE, is our luncheon keynote speaker on Innovation. Recruitment sessions open + a session on Blacks in PR.
  • Saturday, Oct. 29 – Career Fair and workshop on Wired for Success: Embracing New Technologies in PR.
