
During his visit to Pieper-Hillside Boys & Girls Club, Dwayne Wade answered the children’s questions and took pictures with them. As a parting gift, it was announced that the Wade’s World Foundation is sponsoring a reading incentive program for Pieper-Hillside members. Youth who read five books or more between September and November will be entered into a drawing to win one of three laptop computers.
Miami Heat Guard, Olympic gold medalist and Marquette University basketball standout Dwayne Wade made a special visit to the Pieper-Hillside Boys & Girls Club, 611 W. Cherry St., to encourage the children to have a positive and successful school year.

Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade implored Pieper-Hillside Boys & Girls Club members to set goals, dream big and to work very hard to achieve them. He also stressed listening as the most important skill they need to succeed in life – at home, school and sports.
He also announced his foundation’s reading incentive program for the Club.
