LAND SURVEYING ASSISTANT
The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission has an immediate opening for an entry level Land Survey Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting land surveyors in field locating of monuments marking U.S. Public Land Survey corners and assisting in monument installation and referencing of U.S. Public Land Survey corners. Will use surveying instruments and equipment as directed by registered land surveyors and perform other land surveyingrelated duties including records research and filing. Must possess a knowledge and understanding of land surveying instruments, equipment, practices, and procedures. Must also be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and use a demolition hammer and a concrete breaker and saw. Graduation from high school and one year of land surveying or related experience is desired. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
