The North Division High School Boys & Girls Club invites area residents to be part of its Parent Community Learning Center. It is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The Parent Community Learning Center is a place for positive recreation activities that relax and create enjoy.
The North Division High School Boys & Girls Club also invites residents to be part of its “Family Fitness Challenge.” The eight week challenge aims to get parents and youth active, fit and healthy for summer. The Family Fitness Challenge meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. now through June 1. It includes weekly weigh-in’s, fun heart pumping workouts and daily journaling to keep track of progress. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is the oldest and largest youth-serving agency in Milwaukee . It offers after-school and summer programming for children ages 5-18, focusing on those who have major life obstacles, most often poverty. The Clubs operates 40 sites, which include six primary locations, 32 school sites, Camp Whitcomb/ Mason in Hartland and an extension site at the Ethan Allen School for Boys in Wales. Membership to the Clubs is only $5 per year, per child, but no one is ever turned away based on inability to pay.
