5th Annual ‘Restaurants Under Glass’ at the Domes

Milwaukee’s finest metropolitan restaurants

Mitchell Park Domes

The public is invited to the Mitchell Park Domes, 524 S. Layton Boulevard, to experience its 5th annual culinary event, “Restaurants Under Glass,” sponsored by “Friends of the Domes” on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. Seventeen of the Milwaukee metropolitan area’s finest restaurants will offer taste samples of their favorite menu items and specialties.

This culinary event will take place during one of the best attended shows of the year titled, “Story Book Tales,” the Domes annual Train Show, highlighting G-scale model trains running on over 500 ft. of track.

Participating restaurants this year include Alterra Coffee, Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro, Beans & Barley, Envoy Restaurant & Lounge, The Machine Shed, Chancery Restaurants, Haute Taco, Jake’s, Mader’s Restaurant, Maxie’s Southern Comfort, Melting Pot, Miss Katie’s Diner, Rich’s House of Cakes, Roots Restaurant and Cellar, Sake Tumi Restaurant, Milwaukee Ale House, Via Downer/Transfer Pizzeria & Cafe.

Admission prices are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-17. Tickets to obtain food samples are $1 each. Raffle tickets also are $1 each. Guests may enter to win gift certificates for discounts and dinners at the participating restaurants. Advance admissions, food, and raffle tickets may be purchased online (and will be held at the door) at www.milwaukeedomes.org. The raffle will be held at 8:30pm and participants must be present to win. No strollers permitted.
