Group Leader
Opening(s) & Location: 84th Street / Medical Day Treatment
General Summary: Works as part of a treatment team to provide counseling, group social educational/ recreational activities and case management for severely emotionally disturbed youth ages 12-17. Education and/or
Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Service field. Experience working with children/adolescents with mental heath disorders. Ability to display cultural competence by responding respectfully to people of all cultures, good verbal and written skills required. Attention to detail and good organization skills.
Essential Functions: Adheres to St. Charles Polices and Procedures. Formulates and reviews treatment plans, provide group/individual counseling to fit needs. Assist with group coverage and crisis intervention. Attend trainings.
