Milwaukee Bucks sponsored a “Bringing the Books Home Campaign”

November 27, 2010

The Milwaukee Bucks, in partnership with Sam’s Hope Literacy Foundation and in support of the Bucks Read to Achieve literacy initiative, sponsored a “Bringing the Books Home Campaign” recently event at Discovery World. Bucks players and coaches read to 500 MPS first, second and third grade students to promote youth literacy in Milwaukee. Each student in attendance received books for their home libraries with a total of 6,000 books distributed at the event. This is the first time in their 13 year literacy efforts that the Bucks/Sam’s Hope are partnering with Discovery World to host the event. Above Brandon Jennings and assistant coach Anthony Goldwire.
