WHEDA turns to RBK to promote new Advantage home loan for first-time homebuyers

May 28, 2010

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA®) and Red Brown Kle Marketing Communications (RBK) have come together, once more to promote homeownership in Wisconsin – this time with the WHEDA Advantage home loan. This new mortgage product is the only option in the state which provides a unique combination of features designed expressly for first-time home buyers such as: lower cash to close (as little as $1,000), reduced fees (no private mortgage insurance needed) and job loss mortgage protection, just to name a few.

“We couldn’t be more excited that WHEDA has selected RBK to help promote such an important product statewide,” said Carl Brown, president of RBK. “We are confident that this product will help make homeownership attainable for first-time buyers throughout the state of Wisconsin. In the past, WHEDA has turned to RBK for branding projects, as well as other outreach efforts in selected markets. We are looking forward to continuing our successful relationship with WHEDA and helping them reach their goals.”

RBK will provide market research, strategic planning and creative services for the statewide marketing campaign. It is slated to launch Spring 2010 in several markets including: Southeastern Wisconsin, Fox Valley, Wausau/Central Wisconsin, Beloit, Madison Eau Claire and La Crosse.

“Home ownership is the American dream,” said Antonio Riley, WHEDA’s executive director. “Thanks to WHEDA’s new Advantage loan, as well as other products and services we offer, going from being a renter to a homeowner can be made a reality. We’re looking forward to working with Red Brown Kle’ because they recognize and support our efforts to promote successful, educated and prepared homebuyers.”
