For over forty-five years, the Social Development Commission (SDC) has served as a planner, coordinator, and implementer of human service programs for low-income individuals and families in Milwaukee County. We currently have the following job openings:
*MANAGER EDUCATION AND TRAINING
This position coordinates Education and Training programs focusing on alternative degree programs, curriculum planning and vocational training. Job duties include identifying, recruiting, selecting and enrolling participants into the Skills Enhancement program, facilitating seminars and workshops, coordinating case management, and developing program procedures. This position requires a Master’s degree in an Education area with a minimum of two years related experience and/or training. Previous supervisory and administrative experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
**MONITOR – FOOD SERVICE
This position monitors food service sites, ensures compliance with appropriate rules and regulations with site staff and prepares summary reports of site visits for management review. This position requires a High School diploma or the equivalent; two or more years or related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires use of your own vehicle and the candidate must meet SDC’s personal liability insurance requirements.
*The benefits package for these positions consists of health and dental insurance, a pension plan, tuition reimbursement, sick time, etc; additional paid time-off benefits for exempt staff includes three personal days and four weeks of vacation in a 12 month period.
**This is a non-exempt position and employees are eligible for three personal days and two weeks of vacation in a 12 month period. Application deadline is June 23, 2011.
