Former Milwaukee Bucks player Michael Redd returned to Milwaukee this week to formally announce his retirement from the NBA. Prior to the official announcement that took place at the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game held on Wednesday evening, Redd returned to visit The House of Peace. While a member of the Milwaukee Bucks he was very supportive, he donated turkeys and holiday fixings for five years to the House of Peace Thanksgiving Food Basket distribution through the Michael Redd Foundation. His generosity allowed central city families the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal in their own homes.
