For over forty-five years, the Social Development Commission (SDC) has served as a planner, coordinator, and implementer of human service programs for low-income individuals and families in Milwaukee County. We currently have the following job openings:
Payroll Specialist
Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, the Payroll Specialist ensures the accurate and timely processing of all payroll information in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as government, legal requirements an within a timely manner. This include entry of new hire information and terminations in HRIS/payroll system (e-services and Paychex) and timekeeping system (Stromberg), entry of all changes to payroll information, entry and changes of benefits information related to payroll, Prepare documentation for all payroll, e-services and Stromberg entries. Make adjustments to payroll based on changes in employee status, performance and merit reviews, timekeeping changes, garnishments, child support orders and any other employee change that occurs. Enter, update and maintain supervisors and changes to supervisor information into various systems in a timely manner. Process all unemployment requests and verifications of employment in a timely manner. Create and file employee termination files. Run reports as requested by HR, Finance and management.
HRP-Benefits
Serve the organization as a Human Resources Partner/ Benefits Specialist. The areas of responsibility will be serving all employees and management in Head Start and Finance as well as benefits functions for the entire organization.
