The Pete’s Fruit Market staff and family are pictured on the Grand Opening Day earlier this month celebrating the expansion of the market. A store that began with just a stand on a vacant lot. Pete’s Fruit Market has been somewhat of a secret that the near southside of Milwaukee kept. Today, with the diversity of the area, the word of Pete’s Fruit Market and its great deals are spreading fast. Also pictured in the bottom photo is Pete Tsiritidis being presented with a proclamation from Mayor Tom Barrett’s office.
