One week before the midterm elections President Barack Obama shared the stage with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke in front of a cheering, energized crowd of approximately 3500 with 300 in an overflow area at North Division High School, 1101 W. Center St. in the central city of Milwaukee.

Democratic Attorney General candidate Jon Richards of Milwaukee proposed a bold plan last week to create a “Senior Citizen Advocate” at the Department of Justice who would focus on cracking down on fraud and abuse committed against Wisconsin’s senior citizens.
It is estimated that more than 5,000 cases of elder abuse occur each year in Wisconsin.
“Wisconsin’s senior citizens need an advocate in the Department of Justice,” said Richards.
