On May 14, the Milwaukee Brewers will host a pre-game celebration at Miller Park to honor the USS Milwaukee (LCS 5), a naval warship that will be commissioned in the spring of 2015.
The ceremony will begin at 6:45 p.m., and will include a ceremonial pitch thrown by the USS Milwaukee (LCS 5)’s commanding officer, a color guard presentation, a ship launch video and the national anthem sung by members of the U.S. Coast Guard.
This event takes place during Milwaukee’s Armed Forces Week, May 12 – 17.
