Dozens of adult men and women are working hard to finish classwork and testing so they can take part in a GED/HSED Graduation later this month.
The participants in the GED/HSED program at the Social Development Commission are completing work so they can participate in Graduation Ceremonies held Friday, May 22nd.
The celebration will be held at 1:00 pm at the National Guard Armory located at 4108 N. Richards Street in Milwaukee.
The graduates will be cheered on by family and friends as they mark a major achievement in their lives.
The GED Testing Service estimates that on average, an adult with a high school credential earns as much as a half-million more over a lifetime than adult who drops out.
