The Youth Employment Program of the Social Development Commission (SDC) is seeking high school drop-outs between the ages of 18 and 21 for its Youth Employment Program.
The program provides income-eligible Milwaukee County youth with GED classes and testing as well as free tutoring and followup.
The program also provides preparation for the workforce. It offers job readiness workshops, occupational skills training, and adult mentoring to participating young people. This includes paid on-the-job work experience opportunities.
