Chicago’s Moo & Oink is m-o-o-o-ving into Milwaukee

September 28, 2013

Chicago’s iconic BBQ brand of meats and spices can now be found at Pick ‘n Save stores

Moo & Oink, an iconic Chicago barbeque brand of meats and spices, is introducing its products at Pick ‘n Save grocery stores across the Milwaukee area. Moo & Oink is known for its Chicago-style full and meaty rib tips, hot links, sausages, breakfast links and patties, chicken nuggets, High-Five BBQ sauce and BBQ sprinkles.

The legendary brand enjoys a large and loyal following. In fact, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler even sang the Moo & Oink jingle on Saturday Night Live to prove they were native Chicago Southsiders.

“We are so excited to introduce Chicago’s legendary Moo & Oink products to the Milwaukee market,” said David Van Kampen, chief herding officer of Moo & Oink, LLC. “We know Moo & Oink will quickly become as much a favorite for Milwaukee customers as it has been among Chicagoans for more than 40 years.”

In 2011 Moo & Oink was thought to be gone forever after bankruptcy of the Moo & Oink grocery stores, but Best Chicago Meat Co., LLC, and Dutch Farms purchased the Moo & Oink brand in Dec. of 2011 and brought the most popular items to grocery stores across the Chicagoland area.

Moo & Oink continues to grow with the development of new products and a regional expansion of product distribution. In addition, an ecommerce website http://www.tastechicagosbest.com was launched in 2013 to meet out-of-town consumer demand.

The site offers select Moo & Oink products shipped in dry ice anywhere in the U.S. The current Moo & Oink products available in Milwaukee are:

• Turkey Hot Links
• Beef Hot Links
• Pork Hot Links
• Turkey Mild Links
• Beef Mild Links
• Pork Mild Links
• Beef Breakfast Sausage Patties
