African World Festival held this past Saturday

August 10, 2013

African World Festival held this past Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 was the scene for entertainment and fun for the entire family. From R & B, Blues, Jazz and Gospel, the festival featured it all. Enjoying the festivities was music legend Kenneth Gamble, (pictured on the right) with Jazz artist Tim Bowman who performed at the Miller Jazz Stage. Gamble spent the entire week in Milwaukee to officially open his two charter schools, Universal Academy. One is an elementary school and the other one is a college prep high school, both are opening for the 2013 school year. (see more photos below)
