Brewers Community Foundation launches new website

May 31, 2013

Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) harnesses the pride, passion and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other contributors to positively impact the lives of children and their families in greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin in the areas of health, education, basic needs and recreation.

After generating significant resources and developing quality programming, BCF is excited to launch a new website making it easier to apply for grants, register for events, check 50/50 numbers and donate online. Designed with assistance from Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) and Forte Interactive, the site can be found at Brewers.com/BCF or www. brewerscommunityfoundation.org and was launched today.

Brewers Community Foundation provides a significant number of grants each year to nonprofit organizations. Grant applications can now be submitted through a new online form.

The 50/50 Raffle has become a new tradition at Miller Park and now fans can now see every 50/50 Raffle prize listed for the current season on the website along with the date, prize amount and winning ticket number. Visitors to the new site are encouraged to make a meaningful contribution to help BCF support critical community programs through a new online donation form.

The new site features details, registration opportunities and a schedule of BCF events for the season. Fans have the opportunity to join in on events such as the 5K Famous Racing Sausages™ Run/Walk, An Evening With Hank Aaron, Davey Nelson’s Celebrity Golf Tournament, BCF Week, and the Drive For Charity. In addition, applications and details on the four BCF Scholarship programs will be available online in early 2014.

Brewers Community Foundation is the charitable arm of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club (a 501©3) and has raised nearly $10 million since rebranding in 2010A complete list of organizations that benefit from BCF events and programs will also be listed on the website.
