Leading Wisconsin Reception and Celebration to be held on Jan. 8, 2012

January 5, 2012

Center for Progressive Leadership and the first graduates of the 2011 Wisconsin Political Leaders Fellowship cordially invite you to be a part of developing Wisconsin’s future progressive leaders!

We are excited to welcome 11th Assembly District State Representative Jason Fields, as our guest speaker for the “Leading Wisconsin Reception & Celebration” which will be held on Sunday, January 8th at 3:30 pm at the Blatz House located at 1110 North Market Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202. Admission tickets are $50 per person. All proceeds are tax deductible and will go towards the CPL Scholarship Fund to help ensure that no one is turned away from participating in a CPL programs because of financial circumstances.

The Center for Progressive Leadership, headquartered in Washington D.C., is a national civic training institute founded by a broad and diverse group of progressive leaders from around the country who saw crucial gaps in training, mentorship, coaching, and support for progressive campaign, organization, community, policy and political leaders.

CPL has trained over 5,000 leaders through intensive, nonpartisan leadership programs primarily in our state offices: Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and now Wisconsin! CPL-Wisconsin launched the organization’s prestigious Political Leaders Fellowship in July of 2011. Specifically designed for working individuals, this political leadership program is tailored for the top up-and-coming progressive organizational leaders, future candidates, community organizers and activists from across the state.

CPL-Wisconsin is currently looking for the most talented, diverse progressive leaders from across the state to help advance progressive political and policy change. You are encouraged to APPLY or NOMINATE a leader for the 2012 Wisconsin Political Leaders Fellowship at: http://www.progressiveleaders.org/states/wisconsin/fellowship.htm

If you have any questions or would like to RSVP for this event, please contact Martha De La Rosa, Wisconsin Program Manger directly at: (414) 273-8080 or email: mdelarosa@progressiveleades.org.
