Lad Lake hosts 4th Annual Bright Lights Big Dreams Gala

October 8, 2011

On October 22, from 7-11 pm at COA Restaurant, Lad Lake will return to Bayshore Town Center to host the 4th Annual Bright Lights Big Dreams Gala celebrating the accomplishments of Lad Lake’s extraordinary students and rewarding them for their hard work, perseverance and personal achievement.

For more than 100 years, Lad Lake has provided innovative services for at-risk youth and families focusing on four core program areas – education, independent living, outreach, and residential treatment. During the Bright Lights Big Dreams event, scholarships will be awarded, each reflective of exceptional achievement in one of the four core program areas. Through the personal testimonies of scholarship recipients, Lad Lake aims to shine a light on the issues facing this vulnerable, but resilient population of youth.

“Bright Lights Big Dreams is a testament to Lad Lake’s faith in our youth, and our generous sponsor’s belief that our organization is making an impact on Wisconsin’s future generations,” said Gary Erdmann, CEO, Lad Lake. “Bright Lights Big Dreams is as an example of our endurance, our growth and commitment to assisting youth in this community, and a celebration of their own personal achievements.”

Authentic Mexican street food from COA, live music from De Calle Son, and an inspiring stage show all join together for an evening filled with enthusiasm and optimism. Erdmann added, “Showcasing these students and their stories, that’s what this night is really about!”

For sponsorship and additional event information, please contact Kevin Schmotzer at 877-965-2131 or kevin@ladlake.org. Additional information about Lad Lake is available at www.ladlake.org.
