Canaan Baptist Church, located at 2975 North 11th Street is celebrating it’s 71st Year Anniversary. The Church is have a Pre-Anniversary program on Sept. 18, 2011, beginning with Sunday School at 9:00 am. The worship hour will begins at 10:30 am with Rev. Jerrod Williams of Providence Baptist Church as the guest speaker.
The Anniversary day celebration will be held on Sept. 25th, 2011, starting at 9:00 am. The worship services begin at 10:30 am with Rev. Demetrius Mack from Way of The Cross Missionary Baptist Church as the guest speaker.
The theme for this Anniversary celebration is: “We Are United to Christ Jesus”, taken from Ephesians 4: 5-6. Please join the Official Staff, Church Anniversary Committee and the members of Canaan in celebrating 71 of glorifying God.
