County Executive Candidate Forum to be held Feb. 9th

February 5, 2011

The Riverwest Neighborhood Association and Riverwest Currents newspaper are sponsoring a Milwaukee County Executive Candidate Forum on Wednesday, February 9th, from 7-9 pm at the Gordon Park Pavilion, 2828 N. Humboldt Blvd (E. Locust Street and N. Humboldt Boulevard).

All five declared candidates (Ieshuh Griffin, Jeff Stone, Lee Holloway, Jim Sullivan and Chris Abele) have been invited to participate.

The forum will be moderated by noted peace activist George Martin.

As in previous forums, all candidates will be asked to give an opening statement, then answer 3 pre-written questions regarding transit, the park system, and economic development and/or privatization.

Next, questions will be accepted from the audience via note cards which are then reviewed before they go to the moderator (mostly for repeats and statements as opposed to questions). The forum will end after a closing statement from each candidate

The forum is free and all residents of Milwaukee County are invited to attend and participate.
