Brentwood Church of Christ’s bi-monthly African American Alzheimer’s & Related Dementia Caregiver Support Group meeting will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the church (6425 N. 60th Street). This group is free and open to the general public. The meeting will include a presentation by Connie Chestnut of the Alzheimer’s Association and will focus on how to effectively communicate with individuals who have Alzheimer’s and how to understand their behavior.
