County Supervisor Elizabeth Coggs was elated, appreciative and thankful to get the endorse and support of two major public education unions in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
County Supervisor Elizabeth M. Coggs is honored to receive the endorsement of Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), which represents approximately 98,000 public education employees in Wisconsin and MTEA Milwaukee Teacher’s Education Association representing over 8,000 employees in the Milwaukee Public School System.
“I am truly honored to have received the support of WEAC and the MTEA” I have always worked for quality education on behalf of our qualified and dynamic public school teachers,” Supervisor Elizabeth Coggs shares, “I feel strongly about Wisconsin’s teachers and they deserve strong and accountable representation in Madison. I have been a champion for quality education, public employees and public schools.”
“Last year I publicly spoke against the takeover of the Milwaukee Public School System that was introduced by Governor James Doyle and Mayor Tom Barrett.” There are better ways to bring solutions to problems in the educational system!
As founder of the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Back to School Festival I had the dream in assisting families so their children could be prepared for school; that was sixteen years ago. Over those years we, King Advisory Inc., have given over 50,000 book bags with school supplies to prepare our future leaders for school.
“I say let’s all work together and listen to each other to develop a positive education system for all.”
