PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project consists of a new 68 unit, 96,000 SF Apartment Building with 2 lower levels of precast parking and 4 upper wood framed levels of living space. See Bid Division Packages below for Primary Components of the Building’s Construction.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Project Labor is to be Calculated and Paid utilizing Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates per the most current Publication date (See Specification for Table).
- Project has a “Best Efforts” Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE) Goal of 18%.
- All Bidders Must Include Provisions for Payment and Performance Bond.
CONSTRUCTION BID DIVISION FORMS
All proposals must be submitted on our bid description and pricing form, along with a detailed scope breakdown of your proposal on company letterhead. These forms will be available in the specification books or by request from the Construction Manager. Bids received the time stated above will not be considered.

Copies of the contract documents will be available May 26, 2010. Copies of bid documents are available via the following options
- Full size paper sets/sheets of the plans are available for purchase at the office of Reprographic Technologies, located at 1630 Miller Park Way, Milwaukee, WI, telephone (414) 384-1630, fax (414) 384-8230. Call Reprographic Technologies before pickup to verify availability of documents. Pick-up hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Electronic Construction Documents are also available on CD upon request from Altius Building Company.
- Plans can also be viewed and downloaded on the ISqFt website with the Project ID and Password provided on the ISqFt Invitation To Bid.
VOLUNTARY ALTERNATES
Value engineering is encouraged. Propose cost saving substitutions and alternates as voluntary alternates on the bid form. Base bid is to be per plans and specifications.
