A program is offering help for low-income residents having trouble filling prescription medications. The PARs or Prescription Assistance Referral Service program is helping residents by linking them with medicine manufacturers so they can get the medications free or at a reduced cost.
PARs is offered by the Social Development Commission at their facility at 4041 N. Richards Street. The goal of the program is to make prescription medicine more accessible and affordable for some of Milwaukee County’s most vulnerable residents.
