Fatherhood Summit scheduled

The 6th Annual Milwaukee Fatherhood Summit will be held this fall, sponsored by the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative in partnership with the Social Development Commission (SDC). The two day event will be held October 7th and 8th at Destiny Youth Plaza at 7210 N. 76th Street. The annual event is designed to bring men together to identify solutions and resources for them, provide support and positive images of the father role, and help them address obstacles that prevent them from being involved, responsible and committed fathers. The summit will include workshops on a wide range of topics, a job and resource fair, and a Grandfather Event.
