Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele today announced his endorsement of Hillary Clinton for President.
“Secretary Clinton is the best candidate to unite our Country and continue moving us forward so that every American has a shot at building their American Dream,” Milwaukee County Executive Abele said. “I am proud of the way in which Hillary has taken a stand on progressive issues, such as a ban on military style assault weapons and defending a woman’s right to obtain a safe, legal abortion, while still offering serious, pragmatic solutions to challenges like college affordability and access to quality childcare.”
“The contrast between the candidates in this election could not be more stark.
Donald Trump’s selfish opportunism is only interrupted with divisive, racist, and offensive rhetoric. Government isn’t a game. Citizenship isn’t just a word to use in campaign speeches. This Country needs a President that understands,” Abele said.
“As a proven leader who has dedicated her life to public service, Hillary Clinton understands that. She is ready to be President from Day one. That’s the kind of leadership we need.”
