Milwaukee, WI – As part of it’s Breaking the Silence series, the Alzheimer’s Association, in partnership with the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute will host a two-part series entitled, “Is It or Isn’t It?” for community members who wish to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. This series will be held on Thursday, May 12 and 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Aurora Sinai Outpatient Center, 1020 N. 12th Street, in Milwaukee. There is no charge to attend this program.
Have you or a loved one recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia? These two sessions will look at myths and discuss the importance of brain health. We’ll also provide attendees with a basic understanding of the diagnosis process and directions on what your next steps should be.
