“Viewing of “Grace Lee Boggs: Next American Revolution”
People’s Books (804 E. Center St.) will host a viewing of “American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs” at 5 P.M. This critically acclaimed documentary features the life of philosopher, writer, and activist Grace Lee Boggs. Boggs dedicated over 70 years to the U.S. African-American civil rights movement. The documentary explores her unique position as a Chinese American who, at the age of 98, continues to actively engage the U.S.’s political and social spheres of power.
