Recent mass shootings in Oak Creek and Aurora are painful reminders of the cost of gun violence. Every single year in our country, 30,000 people are killed and an additional 70,000 people are injured with guns. We can and must do more to prevent these tragedies. Please bring your ideas and questions and add your voice to this discussion.
Panel Members Include:
- Rev. Willie Brisco, President, Milwaukee Inner-City Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH)
- Jeri Bonavia, Executive Director, Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort Educational Fund (WAVE)
- Pardeep Kaleka, Sikh Temple Community
- Antoni Apollo, Team Captain, Gun Unit, Milwaukee County Assistant D.A.
Moderator: Representative Tamara Grigsby
